Yacht price :

The 423 was produced from 2003 until 2007 and was Cruising Worlds' Boat of the Year in 2003.  Currently sailed by the second owner, she has traveled up and down the east coast and throughout the Chesapeake Bay. Never chartered, she has been well maintained and is in excellent condition. Recent upgrades and enhancements include new canvas, new cockpit cushions, newly painted Boot Stripe and Cove Stripe, new custom mattress for owners' cabin, new dinghy and outboard and new stainless-steel lifelines.

The Beneteau 423 was available in both 2 cabin and 3 cabin models. The 2-cabin model utilized the extra space provided by elimination of the 3rd cabin to enlarge and enhance the galley as well as providing a cavernous starboard lazarette currently occupied by 2 full size bicycles and the cockpit cushions. The interior is spacious and finished with classic Beneteau Joinery throughout. The woodwork is in excellent condition and the interior cushions were recently cleaned.  The salon is full width, with a settee to port and a large dinette with bench seating. The table includes a leaf to accommodate larger parties and drops down to provide another double berth.  Ample lighting is provided in the main salon through the portlights, two Lewmar hatches and a three-panel skylight. The galley is L-shaped and has more counter space and storage than most boats in this range. In the bow, the owners' cabin has a private ensuite head, hanging locker and large pullout drawers beneath the berth. Light is provided by 2 side portlights and 2 overhead Lewmar hatches. The aft berth has ample headroom, shelf and hanging locker with private access to the aft head.  The Nav Station is well designed and placed just aft of the settee on the port side.

On deck, the cockpit seating and swim platform are teak along with a solid teak toerail.  At the helm, a folding Lewmar wheel makes movement in the cockpit easy when in port or at anchor.  The table tops open and stow easily, providing plenty of room for cockpit meals or entertaining.  There is an electric windlass for the anchor along with a raw water washdown system in the anchor locker.   For access to and from a mooring or anchorage, a West Marine RIB-310 with bench storage for life vests hangs from Kato davits and is accessed through a walk thru from the cockpit to the swim platform.  The dinghy is powered by a Tohatsu 5HP propane outboard, eliminating the need to store gasoline on board.  When not in use, the dinghy tank is stored in the dual tank propane locker and is interchangeable with the main propane tank for the boat.
