This Holby Marine built Tripp 41 has a history of competitive owners who have maintained the boat to remain competitive on the race course. The current owner has totally replaced the rod rigging on the Carbon Mast,  a new Carbon Fiber Bowsprit, genoa Tracks were lifted and re-bedded on 2018, and a new North Sails A2. Cored E-glass and divinycell laid up in female molds and injected with resin using the SCRIMP method.


In 2018 Annapolis Rigging un-stepped the mast, Removed the standing rigging and spreaders.

Deck and Interior

In 2018, the genoa tracks were removed and re-bedded.

Every piece of deck hardware including chain plates and stanchion bases removed in advance of all the surfaces being filled with epoxy filler then primed and painted using Alexseal Yacht Coatings. Deck and cockpit horizontal surfaces sprayed with nonskid grit. All hardware re-installed and re-bedded more often with new SS fasteners in 2008.

Recently added is a New 12' carbon fiber sprit mounted to extend 6' off the bow for the Asym. shoots.

Upgraded blocks allow mainsheet to be locked-off freeing up mainsheet winches to be used for trimming changing sheet for headsail changes or to be used for docking lines. Fast release pins added to keep cams locked in open position until needed. 2008
Lifeline boarding gates added port and stbd .

Additional SS support legs added to existing stanchions to take fore/aft strain. SS Pelican hooks and fittings swedged to lifelines. 2008
Schaffer removable cleat sockets model and removable cleats model added port and stbd. Area below deck greatly reinforced to accommodate backing plates. Cleats removed for racing. Can be moved to bow sockets if needed. 2008
SS chafe strips and aft and outboard of new aft cleats port and stbd. 2008
Aft SS pushpits port and stbd. SS bolts welded to center leg to permit proper through bolting of pushpits. 2008

Sink relocated closer to the centerline to provide for more counter space. New sink drain fitting installed to allow for better drainage on port tack. 2008
New SSI storage bin with teak trimmed cover installed in countertop adjacent to stove. 2008
New custom made drawer with recessed latch installed between stove and relocated sink. 2008
Base for settee berths raised 6". Composite panels installed below berths to provide for separated storage space aft of water bladder tanks. This allows for sitting on the settee without your knees in your chin as well as at the proper height to use the center table. It also provides added height so that the water bladder tanks can be fully filled. 2008
Settee backs/upper bunks raised 3". Aluminum frames reconfigured and mounted in custom made aluminum brackets allowing the bunks to swivel into the raised position as well as being adjusted depending upon heel.
Cushions recut to match adjusted frame. 2008

A total of 3 batteries
are installed, two for a house bank and a single engine start battery. The start battery is a West Marine
group 24 gel deep cycle battery and tested at 12.84v and 752 of a rated 575 MCA (marine cranking
amps). The house bank is a pair of West Marine group 27 deep cycle gel batteries. 


The engine is a Yanmar 3GM30F freshwater cooled diesel (Serial #: E20473) with a saildrive. All components appear in good condition and serviceable
